Light screens, bad lighting, air conditioning, heating, wearing of lenses… fatigue and weaken our eyes. What to do to relieve this visual fatigue? Try these 5 exercises to see more clearly!
The INDEX rests the eye;
Comfortably installed, head straight and motionless, stretch the arm in front of you and fix the top of its forefinger (or thumbnail).
Without moving the head, continue to fix his finger by slowly bringing him closer to his nose.
Then keep his finger away from his face gently, without stopping to fix it.
Repeat the movement a couple of times, always keeping a slow pace and staying well focused.
Oscillations develop eye mobility;
Comfortably installed, straight back, right head, eyes are open. Without moving the head, slowly raise the eyes as high as possible, then lower them as low as possible. Start over 10 times. Take a break by closing your eyes for 30 seconds.
Without moving the head, look to the right as far as possible, then left as far as possible. Start over 10 times. Close your eyes for 30 seconds.
Without moving the head, look at the top left, then at the bottom right, top right and bottom left. Start over 10 times. Close your eyes for 30 seconds.
The “palming” relaxes and relaxes the eyes;
Comfortably installed on a chair, in front of a table, rub the hands vigorously against each other to warm them up.
Place the elbows on the table, then slightly flex the torso forward and cover the eyes open with your hands (as if the palms formed shells), but without pressing the eyeballs.
The support is only done on the elbows.
Keep fingers tight so as not to let the light through. The palms are at the level of the eyes, while the fingers are superimposed at the level of the forehead.
Close your eyes, stay for 3 to 5 minutes breathing calmly and deeply.
The ALPHABET strengthens the ocular MUSCLES;
Comfortably installed, head straight and motionless, look at the horizon.
“Write” The alphabet with the eyes, slowly and without moving the head.
Rest during this exercise, which can be a little tiring.
Do not hesitate to pause every six or seven letters by closing your eyes for 1 minute.
Blinking to moisturize;
Normally the eyes blink every 4 seconds, it lubricates, massages and rests them from the light. But wearing glasses or setting a screen for a long time (or something else) decreases reflex cillements. The eyes get tired, tingle, the cornea dries up, the view gets blurred.
The right method: Activate an alarm (phone or computer) every hour and make 2 or 3 sets of 20 blinking. To intensify the massage effect and improve the distribution of the tear film on the surface of the eye, keep an instant with your eyes closed and make them “roll” under the eyelids.
