A tattoo is done by incising the skin and then inserting ink into the incision.

Depending on the depth of the incision, the epidermis, the dermis and sometimes the hypodermis can be tinted by the pigment.

When the tattoo is very deep only the scalpel will be effective to remove it.

Clear Tattoo:

The more colorful, important and elaborate the tattoo will be, the harder it will be to make it go away and the more expensive and painful the removal will be.

Much more than to make one!

But there may also be some nasty scars.

Scars

In some cases, when the colors have been cleared it may appear blistering scars resembling not always cosmetic burns.

To erase a tattoo: techniques

-The Laser

The laser, in principle, is able to erase most of the tattoos.

Three to ten sessions, or more, will be needed. However, despite many sessions, some inks, some colors can never be completely removed.

The number of sessions, each spaced from the next of 2 months minimum, depend on the type of tattoo, the color of the skin and the colors used for this tattoo.

Treatment can sometimes last for two years. And despite the application of an anesthetic cream 2 hours before the session on the tattoo, the treatment will be painful.

Plus it’s not cheap either.

The prices are based on the size, the color of the tattoo, the number of sessions required and the doctor’s fees.

Laser treatments for tattoos are not reimbursed by health insurance!

Erasing a tattoo should be performed by a dermatologist with experience in laser handling.

If the material is poorly used, if the sessions are not spaced enough, scars may appear.

-Surgery

Ideal for large and deep tattoos, surgical removal of the tattooed skin area is an expensive method, but leaves no trace, only scars from the sutures of this operation.

Because it is a real operation, which is done under local or general anesthesia.

-The REJUVI system or the Rejuvi Tattoo remover method.

This system allows to gradually erase the ink of the tattoo with a chemical cream applied with a high-performance device.

With the help of a pistol, one introduces a cream under the skin so the ink of the tattoo goes back to the surface and can be removed.

The result is slow, and not always effective.

All colors can go on all parts of the body, with this method made by a trained staff.

Follow-up is essential to achieve the best results and to help prevent scarring or post-treatment complications, including the risk of serious infection.

If properly applied, 5 to 8 sessions are required.

A session is approaching the $400.

More or less effective methods.

-Sea salt water

The salt water makes the tattoos pale.

Soaking his tattoo long in salt water by rubbing it with the sand of the sea, is a long and inefficient solution

Salt

Also after local anesthesia the kitchen salt is rubbed on the tattoo by means of a tampon until the skin becomes very red but be careful when stopping before it bleeds. Then we rinse and then we put on a band-aid.

Without taking into account the pain, the results its not convincing.

-Cryotherapy and Cryosurgery

It is a matter of removing the tattoo by the cold using a liquid nitrogen sprayer.

The results are rarely effective.

Remove Tattoo with chemicals

After a slight dermabrasion of the tattooed skin the area of acid or chemical is sprinkled.

Then a saline rinse is applied before applying a sodium thiosulfate compress.

Obviously painful, this practice does not win so much success.

Electric Scalpel and Thermocautère

A tattoo can be removed, always under local anesthesia, using an electric scalpel or thermocautère.

The skin will probably show visible scars, sometimes the tattoo comes out but very pale.
